1. Blend the the egg whites, milk, ice-cubes and banana into the blender.
2. Crush the Almonds up in with a mortar and pestle and then add to the blender and blend it all up until mixed.
The ice-cubes serve to thicken the milk and give it a creamy consistency. The Almonds reduces the air within the mixture and make it even smoother to drink.
Tip: You can buy skinny milk in Australia that contains no more than 0.25 grams of fat per 250ml with the added benefit of having about 10 grams of protein for the same quantity. If you use full cream milk it will contain about 4% fat. Some dairy outlets advertise their milk as being 96% fat free – and it is. The catch though is milk that is 96% fat free is actually full-cream milk, so don’t get fooled.
