What do you think google are playing at here Jeremy? I have tried to use google wave since reading about it here, I found you here because i follow you on twitter and you always have very informative stuff to give out. Do you think it was a flash in the pan or something us web people can see advanced to something better and more long term?

In my unprofessional opinion and best guess, I'd say that they simply created something that the world can do without. Warren Buffet has been noted as saying something to the effect that he smiles every morning knowing that millions of men around the country are getting up to shave [he owns a major part in Gillette from what I understand]. So shaving gear is something that has a ready market - everyday no less! But yeah the online world is cut throat and the dot coms burst their bubbles a long time ago now. Adding to this I think the social apps like twitter and faceparty have firmly cemented their place among the world of the ones and the zeros.
